she may have been from Herzlake so that parish's records
were checked first for a marriage record which supplied
age (33) at marriage and parents' names and then for a
corresponding birth/bapt record which was found for Anna
Maria Gesina.

gave the birthdate (Feb 14) 10 days later than that found in the database. Bernard's date

from Russell Gaj's database which listed the parish as Sacred Heart. Information on the
children was from both databases. The family was found on the Herzlake emigration list and
from the year of emigration given on that source they were found on the passenger list of
