This ID is not 100% certain.
Clement's year of birth was known from the 1870 census
for Clinton County, IL but his parents' names have not
been found on any document. There were several Imming
siblings living in the same county who had a brother named
Bernard Clemens born in 1852. Birth information for that
son, Bernard Clemens, was found in Walter Tenfelde's book
Auswanderungen und Auswanderer aus dem ehemaligen Kreise
Lingen nach Nordamerika and the parents' names and emigration
information noted above is from that entry.

Dolores Rizzo was the source of all the
information for Johan Heinrich. The date and place of birth and parents' names had church
records as their source. Although Wietmarschen lies outside of present-day Emsland, in the
19th century it was just across the border from Lohne which was in Emsland
rather than Bentheim at that time. Johan Heinrich is included here because of the
proximity of his birth location and because he was married to an Emslander. The marriage
record was at Holy Trinity parish. more about sources used |
