death certificate, information provided by descendant Connie Blattner. This corresponded
exactly to the age for him on brother Johan Wilhelm's entry in the emigration index which
also gave his probable place of birth. That birth information was then verified in Soegel
parish records. The parents' names as noted above were taken from that document and were
the same as those found for three other emigrants living in Sts Peter and Paul parish at
that time who were also mentioned in the emigration index entry for Johan Wilhelm.
