Nicolaus' daughter's baptismal record
was found in Lorup parish after her Rohjan children had
been identified. His wife's name was known from that record
which enabled Nicolaus' marriage record to be identified
in records of the same parish. That document noted his
age and parents' names which allowed his birth/bapt record
to be located again in Lorup parish, although on his marriage
record the father's name was listed as Caspar and as Christian
on his baptismal record.

living in St Libory Twp was born in Boerger, so that parish's
records were checked and a corresponding birth/bapt entry
was found there for Nicolaus with the same parents as
Herman Heinrich. The parents named above were taken from

Theodore's birthdate and parents' names
were noted in Colleen Mueller's WCdb. Because both his
parents' surnames were known to occur in Esterwegen that
parish's records were checked and a corresponding birth/bapt
entry was found for him there 6 months later than the
WCdb birthdate. Information about emigration, wife, children
and death was from the WCdb and census.

from her birthdate on the census as Elizabeth Kramer who
had an entry in the book on German families in Allen County,
IN. Her place of birth was identifed in the book as Lorup

entry was found there for him. His parents' names as noted

Heinrich's month and year of birth and
wife's name and age were on the 1900 census. That information
allowed an entry for him to be identified on the passenger
list of the ship The Stuttgart even though it
arrived in 1892 and the 1900 census said he arrived
in 1882. The passenger list supplied his probable place
of birth. Aschendorf (St Antonius) records were checked
and a corresponding birth/bapt entry was found there
for Heinrich Gerhard.

Heinrich's parents'
names were on his marriage record at St. Vincent de Paul
parish. His approximate date of birth was known from his
tombstone and various records, all a little different. His
place of birth was thought to have been Soegel but no baptism
was found for him in that parish during the right span of
years. A baptismal entry was discovered for him in Haseluenne
parish records although the mother's surname was written
as Wubbels rather than Wubben and the year was 1823 instead
of 1821, as thought. Information for children came from
family researcher Dolores Rizzo.
