on her marriage record at Sts Peter and Paul parish but
they were known from a biographical sketch for her husband.
Anna Maria's family emigrated together on the ship Carl

on the 1852 census for Gross Stavern. Soegel parish records

Herman Heinrich's approximate
year of birth was known from his age on the 1850 census.
Names of the godparents of Herman Heinrich's children baptized
(at least through 1874) at St Francis Xavier parish corresponded
to the names of children of Johan Heinrich Prenger and Anna
Maria Gesina Wolken or to their spouses. Those names had
been found in the book Auswanderungsliste fuer die fruehere
Pfarrgemeinde Twist in den Jahren 1838 - 1910 nach Amerika.
The Prenger-Wolken couple also had a son Herman Heinrich
born in 1840. Twist parish records were checked and a corresponding
entry found there for Herman Heinrich. His marriage was
also at St Francis Xavier parish.
