This ID is not 100% certain because Herman's
parents' names are not known from any US document. His approximate year of birth was known
from his age at death and that corresponded to an entry in Walter Tenfelde's book Auswanderungen
und Auswanderer aus dem ehemaligen Kreise Lingen nach Nordamerika for Bernard Heinrich
which gave date and place of birth, parents' names and year of emigration as 1853. The
corresponding entry on the ship Bluecher was with the name Heinrich Herman.
Supporting this ID is the fact that both siblings of Heinrich Herman on the ship Bluecher
