this emigrant |

Regina's husband and children were identifiable
from the 1860 census. Regina has not been found on any
US document but an emigration index entry for her husband
indicates she emigrated with him and their children. Her
parents were named on her marriage record in Holte parish
which enabled a baptismal record to be located for her
in the same parish with a birth year similar to her husband's.

there for her. Her parents' names were taken from that document. The children's names were
from the above-mentioned lists. Her date of death was supplied by John Forti. more about sources used

Bernard Heinrich's date of birth was on his
tombstone and from that a corresponding entry was found for him in Walter Tenfelde's book Auswanderungen

date and place of birth and had his date of death in America. His parents' names were
given and his emigration destination as Schulkrick. More detailed emigration
information was from the passenger list of the ship Elaro. Marriage information was
from the Clinton County early marriage index. The book History of Marion and Clinton
Counties indicated he had settled in Clinton County by 1843 and the parish church in Germantown has a window with Bernard Heinrich's name
which says he was a member of the parish since 1843. more about sources used |
