has this emigrant in his WorldConnect database |
| SOURCES: |
Agnes' age and the name of her husband
were noted on the passenger list of the ship Ernestina.
The baptismal records of her three oldest children traveling
with them on the same ship had been found in Herzlake
parish. Agnes' marriage record at that parish noted her
age and her parents' names enabling her baptismal record
at the same parish to be identified. Agnes' marriage record
also noted the name of her previous husband. Information
about her children and death was taken from the WCdb of
Dave Halm. Birth/Baptism entries for the children born
in Westrum was found in Dr Remme's online Herzlake database.

Theodor's date of birth was on his tombstone.
Because his surname was known to have occurred in Lengerich
parish, that parish's records were checked and a corresponding
birth/bapt entry was found there for him on the same date
as on the tombstone. Theodor's parents' names as noted
above were from that record.
