This ID is not 100% certain
but seems quite likely.
Anton's approximate year of birth (as 1823) was known
from the 1850 census and (as 1820) from Jean's WCdb. His
probable parents' names and possible place of birth were
known from presumed brother Johan Herman Santel. They
were a godfather for each other's child. Johan Herman
was born in Gross Fullen so Meppen parish's records were
checked but without success. It was only by chance that
Anton's birth/bapt record was later found in the neighboring
parish of Ruetenbrock. Information about the chidlren
was from the WCdb and Richard Schaefer.
