Maria Anna's age
at emigration (18) in 1877 and her probable place of birth
were known from the Passe List of emigrants from
Wettrup who settled in Wabasha, MN. With that information,
an entry for (Maria) Anna Passe born Schuth was found in
Walter Tenfelde's book Auswanderungen und Auswanderer
aus dem ehemaligen Kreise Lingen nach Nordamerika which
supplied an exact date and place of birth and parents' names.
Information about marriage and death in her Tenfelde entry
was not correct. The marriage information noted above was
taken from her husband's entry in the Tenfelde book and
information about death was taken from Dave Halm's database
which was also the source for the children's information.
