Albert's date
of birth and his parents' names were known from a gedcom
created by family researchers. With that information the
family was located on the 1839 census for Dalum, Hesepe,
although the mother's first name was different. Gross Hesepe
parish records were checked and a corresponding entry was
found there for Gerhard Albert. His death information was
taken from a transcribed tombstone listing for that cemetery.
His marriage in 1860 was at St. Boniface parish. That first
wife died in Feb 1882, Damiansville, IL. Information about
his second marriage was from the index of marriages on the
Clinton County GenWeb page.
