much of the information and the same was found in Dave Halm's
WorldConnect database. Another TRANEL in Menominee was thought
to have come from Lohen (Lohne) so the parish records of
Schepsdorf were checked and an entry was found there for
Johan Heinrich. The burial information was in the cemetery
listings on the Jo Daviess County GenWeb page. The children
were from the 1870 census and are also listed in Dave Halm's
WorldConnect database.

Joh Heinrich Albert's
wife's name was known from the baptismal record at St. Joseph's
of their child born in 1853. Entries were found for him,
his wife and two children in Walter Tenfelde's book Auswanderungen
und Auswanderer aus dem ehemaligen Kreise Lingen nach Nordamerika.
His date and place of birth, parents name, wife's name,
marriage information and year of emigration were on that
entry. It appears he was baptized in Bawinkel parish, much
closer to Bramhar than Bokeloh which was really the parish
for the village of Bramhar.

With that information an entry was identified for him in

gave his exact date and place of birth and his year of emigration.
Johan Herman's first marriage was at St Francis Xavier parish.
The children's information was all from records at St. Joseph

emigrated in 1844 from Bawinkel to Jefferson City. When
no birth/baptism record was found for her in Bawinkel parish,
Bokeloh records were checked and a corresponding entry was
found there for Margaretha Elisabeth.

when he emigrated from Aschendorf in 1837 and that he married

to be identified in Dr Heinz Marxkors' book Emigrants
from the area of the former County of Hummling…Hannover,
emigrated to St. Libory, St. Clair County, IL which
listed his date and place of birth and death and information
for his wife and their children.
