His birthdate was verified in the Lengerich parish records which also provided the names
of his parents. The last name of his wife was given in the tables at the end of History

the passenger list of the Orion on microfilm and the younger children were from the

were found in an untitled WorldConnect database. Because
other Wolbers were found in the online Emsbueren parish
datenbank, that source was also checked for Herman.
An entry for Gerhard Herman in that database noted his
date and place of birth, his parents' names, his wife's
name and his year of death, information which agreed
with what had been found in the WCdb except that the
WCdb had his name as Herman Henry.
